Shakti

In the dimness of the night, her brow furrows
And a smile makes its way across her lips
You want to know if there's an answer to it all
Her eyes are serene and you can see that she can read you and she will
But she is a free spirit, she belongs to the stars
And all your reasons and your science
Are just fragments of her civilization
She is a child of the universe and she is the essence
She is the sun and the moon and the rainbow
And she is the magic behind it all
She urges the planets to move with the lure of a smile
With a sparkle in her face, with a twinkle in her eye
And in addition to her intuitions, she has the power of compassion
She can heal, and she can cause rocks to feel
And it is then that you know that she can dim the sun
And she can quell the tides
And she has the answers and all of them are right
